Who operates
StackBrief (stackbrief.erbsu.com) is operated by Erbsu. Requests about personal data go through support.
What we store
- Account: email and authentication data (including Google or GitHub login, if used).
- Stack: technologies and pinned versions when available, plus recent briefing history.
- GitHub App (optional): installation metadata and package.json / lockfile content at the repo root. The App permission includes content read; the product only requests those manifests. You can revoke access on GitHub.
- Telegram (optional): chat id and username if connected.
- Subscription (if any): Stripe identifiers.
- Messages sent via the support form.
- Product usage events (pages visited and in-app actions), via PostHog.
Why
To authenticate the account, generate the daily stack brief, deliver it in the dashboard and optional channels (Telegram, weekly email), bill subscriptions, answer support, and understand how the product is used.
Who processes data
- Supabase: authentication and database.
- Cloud hosting for the site and API.
- Background processing of briefings.
- AI provider (Google) for summary text.
- Stripe: payments and subscription.
- GitHub: OAuth and manifest reads via the App.
- Telegram: optional message delivery.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Web3Forms: support form forwarding.
- Some of these services may run outside Brazil. Using StackBrief implies that operational transfer.
Retention and deletion
We keep data while the account exists and is needed to provide the service. In Account you can delete the account: we erase StackBrief data and cancel any subscription. We try to uninstall the GitHub App on deletion; you can also revoke it on GitHub. We keep a minimal email-derived identifier to prevent trial reuse. Stripe, PostHog, Web3Forms, Telegram, and GitHub may keep their own records (billing, logs, etc.).
Cookies
Essential session cookies for login. We also use PostHog cookies/local storage for product analytics. Blocking cookies may break login.
